Fiscal Year 2027 Appropriations Requests:

As your Member of Congress, I have the opportunity to request federal funding that can create jobs and lower costs for families in the district. The form below details the information individuals and organizations need to provide in order to make a request to the House Appropriations Committee.

The deadline for all programmatic and language requests and community project funding requests is COB Monday March 9, 2026.

FY27 Community Project Requests: 

Every year, Rep. Jeffries has the opportunity to submit funding requests for important community projects in New York’s 8th Congressional District to the House Appropriations Committee. 

The House Appropriations committee has released the Fiscal Year 2027 guidelines for requesting community project funding. Consistent with prior years, projects will be restricted to a limited number of federal funding streams and only a handful of projects from each Representative may actually be funded. Only state and local governments and eligible non-profit entities on a very limited basis are permitted to receive funding. The FY2027 guidance and further information on eligible funding streams is available HERE 

Organizations that would like to apply for FY2027 funding may use THIS FORM to provide preliminary information about their proposed projects so that our team may begin reviewing applications.  Please note that this webpage will be updated with further guidance and a firm submission deadline once more detailed information is released by the House Appropriations Committee. Applicants may be asked to provide further information at that time.
