WASHINGTON – Congressmen Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) introduced H.R. 2984, the Bureau of Corrections Renaming Act of 2013. This bipartisan legislation would rename the “Bureau of Prisons” – under the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice – to the “Bureau of Corrections.”
WASHINGTON - Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8), a member of the House Budget and Judiciary committees, will travel to Israel next week with Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer and other members of the Democratic Caucus.
