Brooklyn, NY – Today, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) released the following statement on the potential closing of Interfaith Medical Center:

“The failure of mediation to produce a positive result for the community is deeply disappointing, but the fight to save Interfaith hospital remains alive. We will not rest until there is a viable and comprehensive medical facility that meets the needs of the people of Central Brooklyn at the present location.”
