House Democrats continue to deliver for the people. This year, New York State was awarded over $360 million in federal funding to assist low-income families during the winter season through The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), with additional funds coming from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that House Democrats passed under the leadership of President Biden. We remain committed to making sure that you have the resources you need to take care of your family.
LIHEAP provides federally funded assistance to reduce energy costs, including support for heating bills, home energy efficiency upgrades and heating equipment repairs/replacement.
