Brooklyn, NY – Today, Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries released the following statement:

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar orchestrated the barbaric terrorist attack perpetrated against Israel on October 7, 2023, resulting in the largest loss of Jewish life in a single day since the Holocaust. As a result of the diabolical actions of Sinwar and Hamas, 1,200 people, including 46 Americans, were murdered and more than 250 people were taken hostage. 

Today, the State of Israel, the Middle East and the free world is a safer place with the death of Yahya Sinwar. Terror will never win.
