Women’s History Month is a time to honor the generations of women who have broken barriers and forged progress. At every pivotal moment in America’s history, women have stepped up and pushed our nation closer to its founding ideals. While we continue to celebrate how far we’ve come, ​​we recognize that more must be done to unleash and embrace the full power of women in our nation. We must stand firm in our commitment to advancing the rights of women and girls in the United States and around the world. 

As extreme MAGA Republicans continue to attack reproductive freedom and attempt to criminalize abortion care and IVF, House Democrats are dedicated to defending every woman’s right to make her own health care decisions. This month and every month, we celebrate the women who have shaped our history and we recommit ourselves to the fight for true equality.
