Brooklyn, NY – Today, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) released a letter recently sent to Wayne LaPierre, Executive Vice President of the National Rifle Association, in response to his outrageous claims regarding the conditions of southern Brooklyn in the immediate aftermath of Superstorm Sandy:

“Wayne LaPierre’s continued exercise of his First Amendment right to share baseless opinions is almost as troubling as his excessive interpretation of the Second Amendment right to bear arms.”
