Rep. Jeffries Questions Attorney General Eric Holder On Gun Violence In America

Washington – During a House Judiciary Committee Department of Justice oversight hearing on April 8, 2014, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries (NY-8) questioned the sole witness, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, on the Administration’s response to gun violence in Brooklyn and throughout America.

During the line of questioning, Congressman Jeffries observed that many of the illegal guns used to commit violent acts in Brooklyn come from other states, like Pennsylvania, and questioned Attorney General Holder on the Justice Department’s efforts to keep illegal weapons from being trafficked into inner-city neighborhoods.
